Hey FocusMe,

I’m making new plans and I see this button called ‘Random chars (8)’. What does this button do? I looked to find the answer somewhere, but I think I’ve missed it… Sorry! :s

Hi there,

Thanks for joining our FocusMe community. A random character password (default plan protection) is a system-generated password that will be asked whenever you stop a plan. A pop-up window will appear with a set of random characters that you need to type in before a plan is stopped. You can set the length of the characters, the longer the password the more effective it is to being a deterrent.
