Proposal for Enhancing the Stop Code Feature

I would like to share a proposal to improve the Stop Code feature. This idea could help optimize user experience while also reducing the workload on your support team.

Here are the suggested changes:

  1. Static Request Stop Code

    • The current Request Stop Code changes constantly, which is not ideal.

    • I propose making the Request Stop Code a static identifier tied to the user’s device.

  2. Code Structure

    • Every generated code should include the static Request Stop Code.

    • The code must be device-specific and authenticated online.

    • For example: 123456789 + (User ID)

  3. Delay Option

    • The dashboard page should allow users to set a delay before receiving their Stop Code.

    • This gives users control over when the code is delivered.

  4. Delivery Options

    • Users should be able to choose to receive the code via email.
  5. Accountability Layer

  • If a user requests a code while a delay is active, they should pay a fee to receive it immediately.

  • This adds a psychological barrier, making bypassing strict mode more costly.

  • Users must clearly understand these rules, and FocusMe should prevent uninstallation until the rules expire.

Additional Notes:

  • The maximum delay limit should be 30 days to avoid excessive postponement.

  • Users should be able to set the fee amount themselves.

I believe these changes would strengthen the Stop Code system, improve accountability, and provide users with more flexibility while maintaining strict mode integrity.

Thank you for considering this proposal.

Best regards,
Ahmad Riad
