Chromebook Version

Just a suggestion, but it would be nice to have a chromebook version of this application. I think it would be a trifecta in homes that carry every type of publicly sold OS. Especially because of how cheap chromebooks are.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion! It would be good to know if others are interested in this too. So far we had more requests for Linux so were planning to do that first.

I’m interested in this, too, so that’s at least one more person requesting it.

What’s funny is that on a Chromebook you can currently install the Android version of FocusMe from the Play store and it runs, but it doesn’t seem to recognize all the apps installed on the machine.

Hey HocusFocus,

Thanks for letting us know, and it does seem like there are users asking for this. We’ll let the dev team know about this so they can consider adding it soon!

Cheers!

So what happened with Linux. In your FAQ it says you support Linux.

I haven’t used Windows for over a year but I’m still a paying customer.
Not that I’m complaining but I really need it.
Hell, if I wasn’t so easily distracted I would have made an app for it myself.

Hello there,

How are you? You’re right, Linux is supported but currently for limited distros only:
Linux distro is Ubuntu 20.04Pop!_OSLinux Mint Cinnamon
But surely, we’re working on developing it even further. You may try to get it here: focusme.com/download-links/

Hope this helps!

Thank you so much for the reply. Where can I download FocusMe for those distros? In my account I only have access to downloads for Windows, Mac, and for browsers. But those for browsers are not stand alone apps.
