Block computer with "Punish Me"

I was trying to use an offline application that I should not have be attempting to use. I have the "punish me" setting enabled but it kills my internet, not really a punishment when you are using the computer offline.

It would be great if there was a setting when setting up "punish me" that blocks the entire computer instead of just the internet.

If you're looking for a workaround in the meantime, consider setting up FocusMe to block specific offline applications individually, or using other third-party software that locks the entire computer for a set period.slope game

Also, did you guys know that we already have the block computer feature? Where you can set a time or schedule it as to when you want your entire computer to be blocked? That'll give you a blue block computer screen and there's no way to end it especially if you set it up to Forced Mode.

I totally get what you're saying! The "punish me" feature in FocusMe could definitely use an upgrade for offline use. If you're trying to block an app while being disconnected from the internet, killing the connection isn't much of a consequence.

A better solution would be for FocusMe to block access to the entire computer, not just the internet. This would make it much harder to bypass the punishment. FocusMe already blocks specific apps and websites, so adding a full-system lock or blocking all applications when the "punish me" mode is triggered could be the next step.

It might be worth reaching out to the FocusMe support team and suggesting this. They've been known to listen to user feedback for future updates. In the meantime, you could try setting up FocusMe to block offline apps as part of your plans, but a full-computer lock would be a great addition! cheers mary
