I have a couple of questions but they're essentially both trying to solve for the same issue.
What I'm trying to do is block Youtube entirely so I dont waste time watching videos that aren't productive but allow for certain Youtube videos in my playlists which I need to take notes for. It seems to me that the only way I can do this is to list each individual videos website address in the "allow list" as a custom URL, but it appears that you can't simply cut and paste the web address. Therfore the process of inputting custom URL's takes a lot longer since I have to spend extra time typing these web addresses and Im just wondering if there is a work around for this or a process for achieving a more efficient outcome that I've overlooked.
I was also wondering if Focus Me is considering incorporating a function that blocks websites in regards to your location as this would also go a long to solving this challenge as Im a lot better at focusing out and about in the library as opposed to sitting at home.
Cheers.
Hello ChickenVindaloo,
Thanks for bringing this up with us! As of the moment, the best way to add them is by manually doing it - if you haven't, I'd recommend that you copy and paste all the websites to your Notepad then once it's complete... you can then copy all of them together to your allowlist.
That's a good suggestion and that's always welcome! Please submit your request here: https://focusme.com/feature-requests/
We look forward to hearing from you again.
Cheers,
