TLDR: Please allow the "Next Day Offset Hours" time option to be also applied to the Scheduling interface.
----
Hi FocusMe team,
Currently, the "Next Day Offset Hours" option, (from the Settings > General), seems to only be used for statistics, and not for Scheduling.
Where:
- having "Next Day Offset Hours" set to 04:00 am
- when using the [Plan type: Time Limit] and [Timing mode: Schedule], when setting the schedule of the specific week days:
- it only allows a period from 00:00 to 24:00, and not from 04:00 to 04:00 (of next day)
At least for me, it would be great, if I could create schedules that match my actual sleep/work routine.
The current behavior, doesn't seems to be properly aligned with the statistics schedule, which can be at bit confusing.
Proposed Improvement Implementation:
- in the [Settings > General] interface:
- under the "Next Day Offset Hours" time picker,
add a "Apply Next Offset Hours also to Scheduling" switch option
- and/or, in the selected week days Scheduling interface:
- have a switch option with: "Use Selected Next Day Offset Hours"
This would make the scheduling feature much more flexible and intuitive for people with unique daily patterns. Thank you for considering it!

Hello Miguel!
Thanks so much for your message and for sharing this thoughtful suggestion! ?
The
“Next Day Offset Hours” setting is currently used to
reset plans and statistics, but it doesn’t affect the time range available in the
Scheduling interface.
If you’d like your schedule to start from
4:00 AM, the best way is to use the
Scheduler, where you can set your exact start and end times based on your routine.
Here’s a helpful guide to walk you through it:

Hello again,
I realized I could explain my intention more clearly with a concrete example. Hopefully, this helps clarify what I’m asking for.
What I'm Trying to Do:
- I want to limit a specific app's usage to only for 15 minutes per day
. where my "day" starts at 04:00 AM (as defined in my "Next Day Offset Hours time" time setting)
The issue is:
- If I use the app for 15 minutes anytime between 00:00 and 04:00 AM, that usage counts toward the "new day" (since the schedule runs from 00:00-24:00), even though my "day" (for statistics) is defined as starting at 04:00.
. This means, I can’t use the app again after 04:00 AM, even though I consider that to be the start of my next day.
Example Scenario:
- Next Day Offset Hours: 04:00 AM
- Plan Time (Time Limit):
- Time Allowed: 15 minutes
- Time interval: 1 Day "Per Day"
- Applications: Time Limit Some Apps: <my chosen app>
- Timing Mode (Schedule): Active Monday to Friday, 00:00–24:00
. (Where I wanted instead, to allow: [04:00 AM to 04:00 AM (of next day)])
Desired behavior:
- I want the app usage limit (15 min/day) to reset at 04:00 AM, not at 00:00.
. This way, if I use the app at 2:00 AM, that usage would count toward the previous day, and I’d still get a fresh 15 minutes starting at 04:00 AM (when my new day begins).
. (and additionally, it would also be aligned with the current usage statistics day start)
The Main Issue:
- The "per day" time limit and the Scheduling Timing Mode both currently follow the standard 00:00–24:00 cycle.
But since Next Day Offset Hours is set to 04:00 AM for statistics, the app usage tracking doesn’t align with my actual day.
The main missing key point that I've probably should explained better in my original, is the:
- x minutes/time "per day" part
Thanks again for your time and feedback! Hope this helps clarify my request.
Hello once more,
After re-testing, it seemed to be working ok, by properly reset at my "Next Day Offset Hours" time.
Not sure if I've made some mistake on the 1st time I've tested.
If it happens again, I'll try to recheck better, and reply here in case it doesn't properly works,
Sorry for the confusion and thank you for your time and feedback!
